One More Can't Hurt

I have scoured them internets for y'all this Sunday night, trying to find something that will make your Monday morning blog check a pleasant and rewarding experience. There is a lot to distract and plenty to disappoint out there, kids.

What I finally found is an out-of-date review of Amanda Shires' album, Carrying Lightning. It was released in 2011, so I may have been scooped on that one.

However, that led me to a YouTube search for this Texas girl of whom I've never heard. That search led me to lots of iPhone footage that I could barely hear.

But then it led me to this:



A sweet little cover of George Jones' Tennessee Whiskey.

And I thought to myself..well it was probably something profound along the lines of, 'Awwww. Sweet.' (I'm a tough critic like that.)

More importantly I thought to myself, 'Folks will like that.'

I hope that you do. I hope it's not too sleepy for a Monday morning!  I know you've heard a ton of George Jones over the last few days, but when I found it, I just couldn't help myself. One more can't hurt, right?
