Glad You Came!

Ya know what I like? Musicians who act like they're glad that they're on stage. Not everybody does. Sometimes they act like they're doing you a favor by coming to sing you a few songs. Those kinds of musicians are not my favorite.

Happily, both Weldon Henson and Rick Trevino were really glad you came out on Wednesday night! I think if you were one of the people that came out and staked out a spot early were also really glad that you came out!

I hadn't heard Weldon before, but he was really good and I wouldn't be surprised to start hearing him more and more.

I had, of course, heard Rick Trevino before! It was fun to hear him again since a lot of his songs came out while I was in school.

Has anyone else had Bobbie Ann Mason stuck in their head since Wednesday night? (According to Wikipedia, Bobbie Ann Mason is a novelist and writer of short stories. Rick likes 'em smart, apparently!)
