Well, there's no excuse for it in Austin! I'm planning to bring you several more Austin Summer Staples over the next few weeks and we're starting with Peter Pan Mini Golf on Barton Springs Road!
Michael bought me some actual golf clubs in the hopes that I might go play with him sometimes. That happened last year. I have yet to go learn how to play golf.
So this summer he set more realistic expectations and took me to Peter Pan Mini Golf. Judging by the fact that my mini golf score was as high as some players' 18 hole golf scores, I'm probably going to just stick with Peter Pan.
Plus there are no pigs dressed up in purple suits on regular golf courses. Where's the fun in that?
There are sometimes water hazards, though. (top right.) Tough lie. (That's a golf phrase, right? Sounds right.)
So they're located at 1207 Barton Springs Road, and they're open from 9:00 a.m. (10 on Sundays) until at least 11:00 p.m. every night! Weekdays are easiest though, since the parking lot is roughly the size of a stamp.
Have fun! Watch out for that water hazard.
